I brought my Pixel 8 Pro to the uBreakiFix location in Port St. Lucie because the fingerprint sensor needed to be recalibrated after an Asurion replacement. I clearly explained that the phone was displaying fingerprint-sensor errors and that Google's calibration software needed to be reinstalled. An employee took the phone to the back and returned about 15 minutes later, but the sensor still did not work. When I mentioned that the phone needed to be placed in Fastboot mode, he said he had forgotten to do that. He took the phone back again, returned only a few minutes later, and asked me to test it. Nothing had changed. I was then told that nothing else could be done and that I should contact Asurion. I eventually fixed the issue myself. During the process, I discovered that the necessary prerequisites for the calibration had not been completed, such as, developer options USB diag mode on in order to be able to install the callibration/repair and many other steps missed. which made me seriously question whether a proper repair attempt had been made at the store. this should had been an easy fix as I am sure they have all the software and tools such as android studio installed to a

Caitlin I believe was the manager we dealt with and she was great, gave us a fair quote and turn around time. Quinn fixed my Son's phone and he was also super great and amazing! THANK YOU BOTH! They let us know right off the bat the phone would not be ready same day but they would definitely have it ready for the next day by the end of the day and they did. Thank you both!

Might be okay with something simple like a break on the screen of your iphone but not sure how well they do bigger devices. Brought my ipad in for a battery replacement waited a few weeks for the fix (they had orginally quoted a few days) and got the device back and it still couldnt hold a charge and the speaker was no longer working properly. I asked about a fix but since I moved from Florida they cant look at it and other ubreakifix shops wont honor the warranty.

Returned it worse! Read more... My Pixel 9 XL Pro got one vertical line on the screen and Google provides an extended warranty period for this issue. Google gives you the option to send it to Google or use one of their providers, including this location. I called this location on Friday 5/22 and they told me they had one screen left and would take about 2-3 hours to fix. I dropped the phone off on Saturday 5/23 at 10:30am with full understanding that it was covered under the Google extended period warranty. At their direction, I called at 1:30pm to see if my phone was done and they informed me it'd be ready by 3pm. I was not able to go back until 6pm when they informed me that they still did not have the Google authorization so they could either charge me $200 or hold the phone until Monday when the higher people were going to be at the store. I informed them I could not leave my phone until Monday (I use it for work every day), and I gave them the option to leave them payment as a guarantee without actually paying unless Google didn't authorize it. I was also frustrated because they could have informed me of the need for approval before pick up when I originally dropped of

Our experience at uBreakiFix was one of the most disorganized and stressful customer service situations I’ve ever dealt with. We scheduled a warranty screen replacement for a Google Pixel 8 after calling ahead on 2/21/26. The employee confirmed the known vertical green line defect was fully covered under Google’s extended 3-year program, verified the screen was in stock, and set us up for a Tuesday 11am appointment. From the moment we arrived, the store was chaotic. Long lines, no clear check-in process, and no paperwork or signature collected for the repair-which immediately felt off. We were told the repair would take about 5 hours and left. Around 3:30pm they called asking for the phone’s PIN again (even though it had already been provided at check-in). We gave it and were told the phone would be ready in 20–30 minutes. We drove back to the store… only to be told it was not ready and to keep waiting. Eventually we overheard staff realize the phone had been incorrectly checked in as an out-of-pocket repair instead of warranty. From that point forward, communication completely broke down.
